The Library is sponsoring a
Battle of the Books!
Battle of the Books is a fun reading competition.
Any child entering 4th or 5th grade this September and lives in the Cobleskill-Richmondville School District can participate.
Form a team of 4 members The team members can be a mix of grades, mix of Radez and Ryder, scout troops, homeschoolers, etc. Pick 1 member to be captain. One adult is needed for contact purposes. Register your team at The Community Library by Oct. 15, 2010.
Read books from the booklist. During the school year, meet with your team and practice answering questions about the books you have read. The Community Library will set up coaching sessions.
In March 2011, the teams will meet to Battle!
